Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Joliform ("we", "us", "our"). Joliform is a web application that applies visual themes to your existing Google Forms, giving them a modern, professional appearance while keeping Google Forms and Google Sheets as the backend for data collection.

By accessing or using Joliform at joliform.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

Joliform reads the structure of your Google Forms via the Google Forms API and renders them with custom visual themes at a unique Joliform URL (e.g., joliform.com/f/your-slug). Joliform does not store, process, or have access to form responses — all submissions are handled entirely by Google Forms and delivered to your linked Google Sheets as usual.

Joliform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Joliform. By using the service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration and Google OAuth

Joliform uses Google OAuth as its sole authentication method. When you sign in, we request the following Google permissions: access to your email address and profile information, and read-only access to your Google Forms (via the forms.body.readonly scope).

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Joliform is not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from compromise of your Google credentials.

You may revoke Joliform's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Service Tiers and Pricing

Joliform offers the following tiers:

  • Free — $0/month. Includes up to 10 forms, all 6 themes, unlimited responses, and Joliform branding on published forms. Custom slugs are not available on the Free tier.
  • Pro — $9/month. Includes unlimited forms, custom slugs, custom themes and colors, removal of Joliform branding, and workspace-level grouping for the same domain.

Pricing is subject to change, but active subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice before any price increase applies to their account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Joliform to:

  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Distribute spam, phishing content, or malware through themed forms.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Joliform's systems, servers, or databases.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service beyond normal usage.
  • Use Joliform to collect data in violation of applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

Joliform's code, design, themes, branding, and content are owned by Joliform and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service.

Your Google Forms content remains yours. Joliform does not claim any ownership over your forms, their structure, or any responses collected through Google Forms.

8. Joliform Branding

Forms published on the Free tier will display a "Powered by Joliform" badge. Removing this badge requires a Pro subscription. You may not remove, obscure, or alter the badge on the Free tier through any means.

9. Availability and Uptime

Joliform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Joliform depends on the Google Forms API. If Google's services experience downtime or if Google changes or discontinues its API, Joliform's functionality may be affected. We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party service disruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Joliform and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the service.
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
  • Any third-party conduct on the service.
  • Any other matter relating to the service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times, or that defects will be corrected.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page in your Joliform dashboard. Upon deletion, your Joliform data (profile, form configurations, theme selections, custom slugs) will be permanently removed. This does not affect your Google Forms or Google Sheets data, which remains in your Google account.

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, with notice where practicable.

13. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where possible, notify you via the email associated with your account.

Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the service shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory rights granted under the laws of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
